Wrecked Concert

I just played in a concert for Poplar Street. I sounded great, but when the woodwind section played, they had this groovy music. Me and the Land twins were dancing like crazy. All of the trombone and percussion players saw us. It turned out the punishment wasn’t too bad. We just had to sit with our parents. We had a fun time though.

First Loss

I had another game last night. We lost, but almost every drive of the game, they were in our territoty. We held them back every time until they finally managed to score. The other cornerback was defending him, so don’t take it out on me, coach!! Great Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Game!

We played the Cowboys today. We were ready. We recieved the ball. Then we ran the ball about 3 times straight. We scored on the drive. Then they brought the defense out. I play cornerback, so I’m part of it. We played like pros. The game ended 13-6. It felt great to win, but we need to work on our recievers and offensive line. Oh, and sorry I didn’t do an update yesterday. I’m ashamed of the Seahawks, so it doesn’t matter.

Almost Home

Were almost home! We are staying at a nice hotel. For dinner, we ate at Joes for our grandparents annivirsary. I can’t wait to be back home and see everyone!

Homesick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s been fun in Canada, but I am ready to come home. I was already bummed about a lonely birthday. Right now, we are in a little town called Whistler. It’s good to be in a house though. I am glad that summer vacation is almost over, but I’m not so sure about Poplar Street. At least my friends will be there.

Bitten Up

We just left Crater Lake with maybe 1000 bug bites on each person. I was sick of it. Actually, we all were sick of it. I don’t know about everyone else, but I was scratching like crazy. I hope we go to a campsite with absolutely no bugs at all. I’m glad I’ve gotten to right a post to you all!

Being Two

Tomorrow is Simon’s birthday. He is going to be two. I can’t wait to celebrate. Unfortunately, we will spend his birthday in our car. I hope he says some more words besides dog, neigh, and MINE!!!!!

Yoga

Tonight, I had some yoga steps with my mom. Ben and Simon did it too. We did the warrior. We did downward dog. It felt so relaxing. We had a lot of fun. Even Simon had fun. He looked so funny doing downward dog. Yoga is cool.

Colorado Trip

For spring break, I went skiing in Colorado. We stayed at a camp called Crooked Creek. After renting skis, we started on the slopes. I skipped blacks and double blacks, but I did greens, blues, and blue blacks. I went skiing on a lift called Gemini. Other lifts I went on were also very long. The lift Gemini, however wasn’t long. That’s why I mostly got on this lift the entire time. The other lifts were called Zeypher, Arrow, Eskimo, Prospector, Super Gauge, High Lonesome, Olympia ( I hated that lift), Comet, Meteor, Spirit, Endeavor, Pony, and Discovery. I skiied mostly by myself because everyone was too slow. I did get to ski with my grandpapa. He and I had a fun time. We skiied blue blacks and blues. I also had a fun time at the camp. Will and Jonathan discovered that there was a game room downstairs. Ben and Will challenged me to air hockey. ( they never won) We also had some unexpected prank. There was a rubber mouse in somebody’s shoe. The girls thought it was us. Because they thought it was us, we had no bunk bed ladders. So while everyone went tubing, we went upstairs and stole back a ladder. Oh, guess who put that mouse in her shoe? Mary Polly. At the end of the week, we had to go. I got to sit in the back of a van full of girls with Elizabeth. She and I played the DS. After I heard Ben was whining about the DS, I gave it to him. Unfortunately, Lizzy managed to get the DS. I’m sure Ben was whining about that! Colorado rocks!!

Magic Springs

Yesterday, I got to go to Magic Springs. They opened the park to make a commercial. The cameraman taped us riding some rides. The first ride was awesome! You had to sit in a swing and the pole holding the swings would rise and then it would spin around. The next ride was a roller coaster that tipped and turned! We also got on a giant swing that looked like a pirate ship. It would swing and swing until you were almost upside down! The last ride was a water slide that had a giant puddle at the bottom. When you ran it over, water went flying and it looks like a hurricane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a great time!
